My experience spans around two decades working in corporate communications, journalism and marketing across global markets. My career has seen me grow from a reporter to an award-winning editor – managing some of the most prominent publications in North America and the Middle East – to a media strategist consulting for some of the world’s most influential companies.
My journey
My journey into the corporate world led me to managing internal and external communications for governments and multinational companies, where I successfully devised and implemented strategies to empower and engage key stakeholders, increase brand awareness, and drive market impact. As an accomplished professional with expertise in driving successful communications strategies and business plans across diverse industries, I have collaborated with leadership teams on branding initiatives, conceptualized public relations and marketing strategies, and managed editorial and design teams.
A significant part of my work has been dedicated to generating bespoke content in the form of press releases, newsletters, annual reports, marketing collateral, advertisements, speeches, presentations and social media posts. I have launched advertising campaigns, planned events, hosted industry-focused webinars, handled crisis management issues, and spearheaded corporate social responsibility programs with sustainable initiatives, sponsorships and fundraising activities.
As a journalist, I launched and spearheaded magazines that became well-established, while I contributed to reputable international publications writing on topics relating to business, lifestyle, social issues, travel and tourism, fashion, leisure, and hospitality. During the course of my career, I have interviewed hundreds of intellectuals and influencers – from world leaders and CEOs of global companies, to celebrities and famous athletes.
